Cassandra Clare shares ‘Spicy Manor House’ scene preview

Cassandra Clare promised fans a spicy treat if Jace wins the YA Crush Tournament at the YA Sisterhood.

Clare will post what is forever known as the “Spicy Manor House” scene, from City of Glass, in Jace’s perspective.

To help motivate fans–as if we needed it!–Clare gave a little sneak peek.

Here’s the preview, courtesy of Cassie:

“Jace’s hands slid under Clary’s flimsy shirt and onto the heat of her skin. He was pretty sure all the blood had left his brain as his fingers worked at the clasp of her bra — which was ridiculous, what was the point of being a Shadowhunter if you couldn’t figure out the clasp on a bra? — and heard his own soft exhalation as it came free and his hands were on her.”

I don’t know how Jace couldn’t win this tournament now!
