Jamie Campbell Bower bulking up for ‘Mortal Instruments?’
Check out these latest photos of Jamie Campbell Bower (Jace Wayland) at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) in which he’s out-and-about and posing with fans.
Bower has recently tweeted about working out and the results are definitely showing. Check out those arms!

Wow! He is looking mighty fine and it certainly shows that he is working out. He is just getting hotter and hotter….:)

Sorry .. but I don’t see any difference
Jamie will bulk up before the filming starts, but I highly doubt that the difference will be as massive (excuse the pun!) as some people expect – simply because Jace ISN’T meant to be “beefy! In the books, he is repeatedly described as slight (almost on a skinny side) but athletic. People seem to think that Jace – and Jamie for that matter! – should be as “muscly” as the model on the cover on CoB, whereas even Cassie said that the cover was “an exaggeration”, lol. When asked about his looks, this is what Cassie said: “It is odd, because he’s described as slender, with “angelic” and even “delicate” features over and over. “Black ink Marks twined his slim arms.” I really think it’s because the CoB cover image.”
I personally never understood why people imagined Jace as this huge bulk guy… I guess I’d have to agree that the cover’s to blame. Personally, I think Jamie just needs an athletic muscular build and he is good to go!!! I mean, c’mon you guys, slight, delicate, angelic features? Jamie is beautiful and so is Jace!! I don’t know where all these beefed up pictures of everyone’s “dream Jace” are coming from, but he IS supposed to be thinner but strong and beautiful!! Not to mention, “eyes like a lion”? Um, yes. I think Jamie’s got this spot on, looks AND acting. Just give’em those golden contacts, a small haircut, and BOOM, Call me in love. 🙂 ❤
