Cassandra Clare shares ‘City of Lost Souls’ teaser in honor of Izzy’s win in round one of ‘Heroine Tourney’

In honor of Isabelle Lightwood’s impressive win (by more than 1,000 votes!) in Round One of YA Sisterhood’s ‘Tournament of Heroines,’ Cassandra Clare has shared a teaser from City of Lost Souls, the fifth installment of The Mortal Instruments that will be released May 8, 2012.

Since Izzy spiked the competition with her high-heeled boots yesterday in the Heroine Tournament, you know what that means.

A spoiler-teaser from City of Lost Souls …

“What have you done to my cat?” Magnus demanded, returning to the living room carrying a pot of coffee, with a circle of mugs floating around his head like a model of the planets rotating around the sun. “You drank his blood, didn’t you? You said you weren’t hungry!”

And don’t forget this Monday Clary goes up against Cammie! I’ll need you there with steles in hand, ready to fight for her honor … and another teaser. A nice long one!
