‘City of Fallen Angels’ Most-Quoted Book of 2011 on Goodreads

City of Fallen Angels, the fourth installment of Cassandra Clare’s bestselling The Mortal Instruments, was the most-quoted book of 2011 on Goodreads.

According to MediaBistro and Hypable, City of Fallen Angels was quoted over 21,000 times in 2011. The quote “Or maybe it’s just that beautiful things are so easily broken by the world” nabbed a spot in the top five for most-shared quotes of the year.

City of Fallen Angels, which was released on April 5, 2011, held spots on the New York Times Bestsellers list, as well as USA Today’s Bestsellers list.
