Jamie Campbell Bower mentions ‘Mortal Instruments’ at Empire Awards
There have been a lot of questions about whether or not Jamie Campbell Bower is still Jace in the upcoming adaptation of The Mortal Instruments, which begins filming on August 15 in Toronto.
Cassandra Clare herself confirmed as much.
So a lot of people have been asking me if Jamie Campbell Bower is still Jace. I think this is because he isn’t on IMDB but IMDB isn’t very accurate before a film goes into production. All have been saying is yes as far as I know which means the last time I asked, usually a few days ago, I got told yes. I suppose if it wasn’t the case anymore I am not the person they would call first…So remember all I can say is to —— the best of my knowledge, yes.——-
And if that wasn’t enough, Bower confirmed it in an interview following the 2012 Jameson Empire Awards on Sunday.
“I’m doing a film with Lily Collins called The Mortal Instruments which is fairly similar,”Bower said when asked about The Hunger Games. “So we’ll see.”
