Flashback: Jamie Campbell Bower cast as Jace
One year ago today (May 31, 2011), Jamie Campbell Bower was cast as snarky Shadowhunter Jace Wayland in the film adaptation of ‘The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones.’
While the decision was initially met with some backlash from the fandom, most fans have warmed up to the idea or have decided to let Bower’s portrayal of Jace speak for itself.
While anyone has yet to be cast since Bower last year, casting news is bound to pick up quickly in the next few weeks as the August 15 start film date approaches.
‘The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones’ is scheduled for an August 23, 2013 theatrical release.

i’m so excited! i remember that I found last year, a month or so, after this was posted. At first I was a little uncertain, of the choice but that quickly chaged espically after seeing his acting and other pictures of him. He’s also seems quite nice, funny and a sweet person. Bonnie’s a lucky girl! He will be great and so will Lily. I’m excited to see who else they cast, which I’m sure news will soon follow

Most of this fandom has gotten use to the idea of Jamie being Jace,clearly you aren’t so why are you here ?
I honestly think that he can pull it off. I can kinda see him a Jace….
I have no idea who he is, or what his acting is like….he does’nt seem to fit my vision of jace…….anyone remember jeremy sumpter from peter pan now i think i could of seen him more of a jace 🙂
