Meet the Cast: Stephen R. Hart is Brother Jeremiah

Stephen R. Hart is the latest actor to join the cast of The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones.

Cassandra Clare announced Hart’s casting as Brother Jeremiah on Thursday to the surprise and delight of fans.

STEPHEN R. HART

Background: Born March 11, 1958 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

Character: Hart will portray Brother Jeremiah, a Silent Brother that escorts leads Clary (Lily Collins) and Jace (Jamie Campbell Bower) into the Bone City as Clary searches for answers to her past.

Known For: Silent Hill, Resident Evil: Apocalypse, Shoot ‘Em Up

Did You Know: Hart served at the Montreal Olympics in 1976 as a military escort for International Olympic Delegates.
