Video: THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES animation by Iain Lew Kee

Check out this incredible animation video for THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES sent in by one of our readers Iain Lew Kee.

A short animation traveling through the story and characters from the Cassandra Clare novel City of Bones, Book 1 of The Mortal Instruments series!

With the highly anticipated movie adaptation (Zwart, August 2013), I really wanted to make an animation inspired by the magical Shadowhunters and Downworlders that I could share with the world.

Everything is drawn and then painted freehand. By the end, I also decided to compose my own music.
