Cassandra Clare calls THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES teaser trailer ‘really cool’

Cassandra Clare revealed on Twitter today (Nov. 2) that she has seen the final teaser trailer for THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES, calling it “really cool” but she couldn’t get into specifics.
Earlier in the day, executive producer Martin Moszkowicz revealed that the teaser trailer would be hitting the big screen worldwide very soon and mentioned that it could run with The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2, which hits theaters on Nov. 16.
Clare revealed that the studio is currently working on the details, which could mean which media outlet the trailer debuts on (i.e. iTunes, Yahoo! Movies, etc.) and in front of movies (i.e. Breaking Dawn Part 2).
Clare did comfort fans by revealing that the teaser is more than just the title treatment.

I would DIE if we got to get a glimpse of Valentine. Jonathon Rhys Meyers is an AMAZING actor (*CoughTheTudorsCough*) And I think he is absolutely going to be PERFECT as Valentine! I cannot wait to see the scene when Clary and Jace find out they are brother and sister…it’s gonna be so inteeeense…
Wonder how many are going to buy a ticket to Twilight just to see the trailer for COB. Hope not too many as that will make a difference in the money earned for Twilight making it more popular then it should be. COB will be so much better. lol

i’m so excited for both the trailer and BD part 2 as well as future trailers for tmi including cob, and the posters and pictures, clips, and tv spots and most of the movie! based on what cassie is saying, the teaser will rock and the movie will too!
Well lets see…….Jace and Clary and the midnight flower in the greenhouse would be nice but that scene doesn’t have a lot of action so it probably won’t be that. I’m sure part of the trailer will have some demon fighting going on so we’ll probably see one of those scene – maybe when Simon shoots the skylight with the arrow. I don’t really care….any scene is fine with me. I’m going to love them all!!!
Maybe in an audio montage and they’ll play the scene during some audio clip is playing. Or maybe if/when they get to the part of the trailer where they show a bunch of clips to get our excitment running, they’ll quickly show the Midnight Flower/Greenhouse scene for like maybe 2-3 seconds of Jace and Clary having their first real romantic moment. Hopefully, anyway. 🙂 As long as we get our Clary, Jace, SImon, Isabelle, Alec and MAGNUS scenes/clips in there…I’m happy. 🙂
Also, I am PRAYING they added in Kissed somewhere in there. I mean, come on. It’s not like THG movie was going to be any good if they only did the scenes with Katniss and from her POV. Plus, its a commonly known fact that Malec is the second half of the #1 favorite couple in the book franchise (right alongside Jace/Clary fans).
I’m definitely going to Breaking Dawn Part 2 now…
I think maybe a little bit from the Pandemonium scene to start it off, some intense music, with some kind of funny line so everyone knows that it’s not just going to be actiony. IM SO EXCITED!!

So wait the COB teaser trailer is being shown the same date as they release Breaking Dawn Pt. 2 ??? How interesting.
I’ll go and spend money on a ticket to that movie (I’m not a fan at all.) JUST so I can see that trailer. After that I’ll get up and leave, satisfied.
