One of the concerns a fandom is faced with when it’s anticipating a teaser trailer is exactly how much they’ll be getting.
With the teaser trailer for THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES set to premiere on Thursday (Nov. 15) this has definitely been a concern.
Author Cassandra Clare has shared that the teaser trailer is more than just the title treatment and some music.
Now MTV News’ Josh Horowitz revealed that we’ll be getting a significant amount of footage in the first trailer.
Horowitz got an early look at the teaser trailer, as MTV is debuting it Thursday at 10:30 PM EST, and raved about it.

Holy cow I’m so excited!! I’m prone to fainting so don’t be surprised if I suddenly drop after it. I want to see that very first scene where jace talks to clary and she’s all freaked cuz he’s just a murderer with a gorgeous face. I’m just super stoked that it’s premiering online so I don’t have to pay 12 bucks to see the nightmare that is Twilight! hahaha..sorry no offense. It’s crazy that this is happening cuz I remember back like 4 years ago when I first picked up TMI: COB while just randomly strolling through the YA section at Barnes and Noble…and now the trailer is about to come out!!!!! SO freaking awesome.
I do not freaking know why, but now I am concern the trailer may show too much. How can this be even posible?…I’d love to see a lot of things (please, some Magnus for charity…) as much as I want to be teased? that’s insane.
Im prone to screams of joy so when I see the Magnus in this trailer the neighbor may call the cops cuz they think I may have died………….. OF DANGEROUS LEVELS OF SEXY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! XD
I want this week to go by sooooooo fast. This is incredible news. We are going to get to see a little more than we originally thought! This is pure happiness!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I want to see everyone, especially Jace ❤

It’s not a teaser? A full on TRAILER TRAILER?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! THANK YOU GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was a bit bummed that we wouldn’t get to see so much since it was only going to be a teaser. Only less than 1:45 seconds. Now that I know it’s going to be a TRAILER TRAILER, I am BEYOND PSYCHED!!! I can’t wait to see our first real look at the beginning of the COB franchise!!!! I really do hope we might get to see the Greenhouse scene and, of course, at least one MALEC SCENE!!!!! At least for our still wounded and bleeding hearts as a result of the epilogue of CoLS. :””'(

It is surreal that this film is already done and a while back we feared this series was never going to be done. Now we are getting a full trailer let me tell you something I was saddened by the end of Twilight I was thinking there was not going to be another franchise to obbess over and then came The Mortal Instruments.
I already saw the trailer a few minuts ago on ET! It went by so fast, I couldnt make out much! I cant find it on the internet! AHH!
