Smart Pop Books reveal a free excerpt from Shadowhunters and Downworlders Shadowhunters and Downworlders: A Mortal Instruments Reader may not hit the book shelves until January 29, 2013 but Smart Pop Books have released a free PDF excerpt for all the fans who have signed up for their book mailing list. We find out which authors contributed to the reader and we can also read Cassie's introduction and Diana Peterfreund's essay "Sharper Than a Seraph Blade"
