CLOCKWORK PRINCESS book tour kicks off March 19

Cassandra Clare announced the schedule for the CLOCKWORK PRINCESS book tour, which kicks off on March 19, the day of the book's release, in Arizona. She will also hit up several locations in California and has one stop in Nevada, Oregon, Washington and Vancouver. There is plenty of excitement in store for those that attend. Cassie will be traveling in a "fancy bus that is wrapped in graphics from Clockwork Princess and the City of Bones movie" that will be making stops at "bookstores, schools and libraries for booksigning events." Maureen Johnson and Sarah Rees Brennan, who are co-authors of the upcoming BANE CHRONICLES, will be making appearances at some of the stops where "they’ll be emceeing events, helping me with trivia contests, making video diaries from the road, and in general making the tour a more fun and exciting experience." They will be showing the teaser trailer for THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES and perhaps more exclusive looks at the film. There will also be giveaways that include "art postcards, rune jewelry, and all sorts of cool stuff." Here is the schedule:

*This event is free and open to the public. The discussion portion of the event will take place before the book signing and will not require a wristband. In order to receive a wristband for the signing line, you must purchase a copy of Clockwork Princess from any Barnes & Noble location and present the receipt at this location to receive your wristband. Wristbands will be handed out beginning at 9:00 AM on March 19 at B&N. You may bring other books from home to have them signed as long as you have purchased Clockwork Princess and received a wristband. Each person in line is required to have a wristband.
