THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES makes CNN’s list of ‘Biggest, Buzziest Movies of 2013’
CNN has recognized THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES as one of 2013’s “Biggest, Buzziest Movies.”
But hot on the heels of “Catching Fire” are some worthy contenders, including boy-centric “Ender’s Game” (out November 1), “The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones” (out August 23), and the first of the Caster Chronicles books to be adapted, “Beautiful Creatures” (out February 13).
The latter two are good-versus-evil supernatural stories: “Mortal Instruments” is about half-angel demon hunters, or Shadowhunters, and “Beautiful Creatures” is about light and dark witches, or casters, who discover what they are during a ceremony at age 16. “We’ve really loved everything we’ve seen so far in the film,” said “Beautiful Creatures” co-author Kami Garcia. Audiences will likely love Emmy Rossum’s take on the lollipop-wielding Ridley, who casts her siren spell with each lick.
THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES is still roughly eight months away from its Aug. 23 release and the buzz should only continue to grow for this worldwide bestselling book-turned-movie.

I am excited for all the movies they mention in that article, escpecially Catching Fire, Beautiful Creatures and obviously CoB.
I am, too, for each one except Ender’s Game. I have no idea what that one is.

Completely agree! And Beautiful Creature was AMAZING! I just read it this week in three days because I could not put it down. I would’ve read it faster but I was out on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s day. With Beautiful Creatures and Warm Bodies February is going to be a fun book-to-movie month for me!
I have read Beautiful Creatures and TMI and there is no comparison. I was very disappointed in Beautiful Creatures. I saw both trailers and TMI is much better as far as I am concerned.
