The play-in round of the MTV Movie Brawl 2013 is well underway and THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES has dominated the competition so far.

It has been a back-and-forth battle between THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire so it’s up to the fans to get the Shadowhunters to the top spot.

I spoke with Josh Horowitz of MTV about THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS and what makes it stand apart from its competition, The Hunger Games, and encouraged Shadowhunters everywhere to keep voting!

THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES currently sits in the top spot and has racked up more than 35,000 votes.

2. You Guys Really Love “The Mortal Instruments”: And it hasn’t even come out yet! Fans are rallying in huge numbers for the adaptation of Cassandra Clare’s beloved YA series, hitting theaters this summer. As it stands, “Mortal Instruments: City of Bones” rests comfortably in the number one slot of the tournament, with more than 35,000 votes to its name.

Let’s make sure to get THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES the No. 1 seed in the brawl, which kicks off Monday, Jan. 14.

The top 16 of the 40 movies up in the play-in round will advance to the bracket round on Monday where “16 flicks will start going head-to-head, March Madness-style, in single-elimination contests — until only one movie reigns supreme.”

Keep voting at MTV.com!

  10. I know this if off topic but I’m looking into starting my own blog
and was curious what all is required to get setup? I’m assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty
penny? I’m not very web savvy so I’m not 100% positive.

Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. Kudos

  11. After I initially commented I seem to have clicked on the -Notify me when
new comments are added- checkbox and now whenever a comment is added I get 4 emails with the
same comment. There has to be a means you are able to remove me from that
    service? Many thanks!

  12. Good replies in return of this difficulty with genuine arguments and describing all regarding that.

  13. You’re so interesting! I do not believe I’ve read through something like that before.
So wonderful to find another person with a few genuine thoughts on this topic.
