MTV Movie Brawl Final 2: Vote for THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES + giveaway!
THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES faced its toughest battle yet against Spring Breakers in the Final 4 of the MTV Movie Brawl, but pulled through with 53.74% of the vote.
Now it’s time for the Final 2 where THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES will face off against a powerhouse dystopian franchise in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. Time for the Shadowhunters to take down the bow and arrow-wielding Katniss Everdeen in a YA book-turned-movie battle for Most Anticipated Movie of 2013.
Voting is now open and closes on Monday (presumably at 12PM EST, as have all the polls) after which the winner will be crowned!

Ok Hunger Games is some fierce competition, especially seeing that they won so many awards last year at the MTV Movie Awards. But we’re Shadowhunters and we have Jace on our side, how can we posibly lose!?
i voted a bunch of times already for tmi today in the final 2 as well as before it was narrowed down for the final 2! keep voting guys! i love hunger games but the mortal instruments and infernal devices are first. shadowhunters are powerful! plus like cinderbella said, we have jace on our side! clary too, as well as simon, izzy , alec, mangus, maia and jordan! plus we have the amazing cast!
and crew including harold and the screenwriters! and we have cassie!

I want both of them to win! Though I have to admit I loved THG before TMI, so that series is also special to me..
TMI for the win!!!! I also like HG, but I LOVE TMI so much more. There is only 1 Jace/Jamie and Cassie in our world and in any other world/universe/dimension and they deserve all our support! ! So lets go Shadowhunters and vote for TMI!!!!!
It just sucks that we don’t know how we are doing. It would be nice if MTV could actually tell us once in a while where we stand.
I feel the same way. It would be nice to see what the percentages are so we know where we stand. I think though this will be a race to the finish line and very close all the way.
I’ve seen a lot of people say they can’t choose between THG and TMI for the MTV Movie Brawl thing, but I don’t get why it’s hard. I love both series, but I am going to vote for TMI. Almost everyone already knows about THG, it’s a pretty big franchise now. CoB is the first movie for TMI and the more publicity it gets, the better chance we will have for CoA to be adapted (and hopefully the rest of the series). THG is already guaranteed to have the whole series adapted to film.
I totally agree !! Even if I like THG too, I keep voting for TMI because it needs more support from the fans than THG.

I looked at the comments to the MTV page, and there is a person named “Jaya” who puts me far beyond boiling point. I am certainly not one to complain about petty franchise rivalry, but she said she is neither a TMI nor HG fan, and I am thirteen and she insulted my age and me quite immensly and I simply cannot stand people who are so cold. That is a VERY bad impression on me. Love both books and cannot wait for the movies, but because if her, I will vote nonstop until the City of Bones wins. We can do it!

Omg! I saw stuff like that too! I’m also thirteen and those horrible people repel me! ( I just quoted Sherlock!) so I commented at the bottom and tried to rally the troupes! You know, get us all motivated to win… And stuff…

Guys, we need to win the movie brawl, I’m a hunger games fan also but some of those comments were really hateful towards us. They called us feminists and called Cassie Clare a plagiarist. These things are not true in the slightest. We NEED to win this thing! This would be great publicity for our dear friend Miss Clare and for the FIRST tmi movie. So, C’mon! LET’S WIN THIS THING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
