Cassandra Clare shares new unidentified snippet

After Sony Pictures’ earlier reveal of a brandnew character graphic of Kevin Zegers as Alec Lightwood, Cassandra Clare also shared another unidentified snippet with her fans.

Here is the latest unidentified snippet:

“Take London, my love, and turn it all to blood,” she said. “My gift to you.”

Check out all the unidentified snippets so far.

  1. i’d say because of the “london,” it’s Clockwork Princess. However, that seems kind of obvious, so maybe Cassie’s trying to trick us. hmmmm….

  2. Maybe this is Lilith to Jonathan. City of Heavenly Fire. Camille wasn’t that evil right?

  3. Camille in Infernal Devices. Has to be.

Since “London” seems so obvious, I would say that it is something else. But who knows; i have been so wrong on all of my other guesses that I simply don’t trust myself anymore. [sigh] Oh, well.

  5. I think Sebastian…

And the woman from CoHF snippet 6?

Either that or Cam in the Bane Chronicles.

  6. OR. Someone controlling Mortmain? Perhaps Tessa, and the whole mess, is another of Lilith’s schemes?

  7. As hard as the other snippets can be to work out, the unidentified ones kill me even more! Who is it, what are they talking about, when will we find out…… who knows??!!

Okay I have two things. 1. I think it could be in clockwork Princess but this could be another City of Lost Souls thing you know how they traveled a lot. 2. I just thought of something by reading the comments, I really don’t believe that Mareen KILLED Camile.

Maybe a brainwashed Tessa to Mortmain. I don’t know, I’m just guessing. Maybe, to save her friends and the ones she loves, Tessa went to Mortmain and is either brainwashed or pretending to love/like him. I’d go more on the brainwashed “theory” because it says, “she said” not she “spat” or “hissed.” Any of this making sense to you guys?

  14. In chapter fifteen of Clockwork Angel Jem says, “I saw the world drowned in rivers of blood, and I heard the screams of all the dead and dying throughout history. I saw London burning, and great metal creatures striding here and there like huge spiders-” perhaps it was prophetic in some way. Magnus also says something along those lines.

  15. I’m leaning towards Clockwork Princess, but I could so easily see it as being City of Heavenly Fire. If it’s CP2, then I have a sneaking suspicion that it’s someone talking to Mortmain (though not sure who), but if it’s CoHF, then I;m 99.99999% sure it’s the Seelie Queen talking to Sebastian.

  16. Ok here’s my guess its a bit tentative but bare with me, what if its either Lillith returned or the seelie queen talking to Sebastian in COHF. We kinda know that Tessa will come into it so maybe that’s the London link. Magnus could have send them to London to her and Sebastian follows them to do his evil thing.

  17. Hmmmmm maybe Camille to Magnus I suppose…..

  18. I read this somewhere , I think it is Tatiana saying to magnus
