After posting a reather heartbreaking tarot card on her tumblr yesterday, Cassandra Clare has shared another character from her SHADOWHUNTER CHRONICLES with her fans.
So far we’ve had a lot of Shadowhunters and only two Downworlders (Magnus and Simon), but that’s about to change. Have a look at Cassandra Jean’s tarot card of Raphael Santiago:

More of Cassandra Jean’s and my Shadowhunter Tarot. The seven of steles can be ambiguous, so here’s Raphael, the angel-faced vampire with mysterious intentions. He has been the most asked-for Tarot character but we wanted to find the right card for him. I’m so glad people love him so much; he has a very big role to play in City of Heavenly Fire!

Hearing that Raphael will have a prominent part to play in the final book does not sit well with me. We all know that he wants Simon dead and now that Simon no longer has the mark of Cain to protect him… I’m really worried about something bad happening to him, especially at by the hands of Raphael. Oh no!!!

Me too, Rory. Even if Simon lives I’m still wondering what Simon would do with only Magnus as an immortal companion in the far future. If we know Simons character at all he’d rather die than live forever without those he loves. God… I dont know what to think anymore.
