New tarot cards by Cassandra Jean

In the last months Cassandra Clare has shared a lot of Shadowhunter tarot cards by the artist Cassandra Jean and today she posted two tarot cards of characters from her planned TLH Shadowhunter series. Here are the cards and what Cassie had to say:

Just a thought. Notice the red hair of Matthew Fairchild. Clary’s mom’s maiden name is Fairchild which she takes when she becomes head of the consel with Henry’s approval. Henry has red curly hair which decended down to Clary Fray. I love the way Cassandra give us these puzzles to figure out.

I’m really curious as to how James ended up with golden eyes. Because Tessa’s are brown (I think) and Will’s are blue.

  Tessa’s eyes are gray, like her name (before she married). Tessa Gray. But it is strange that James has gold eyes.

Probably James’eyes are that color from some residual leftover from his mother’s turning into Ithuriel. I mean, an angel’s eyes are gold, right?

Ok now I am officially excited!!! How long will we have to wait for this mystery to be solved/ I want to know now!!! On a side note James is seriously hot, although he is a Herondale is it to be expected

I think his eyes are gold because of the star that Tessa’s angel left on Will. That is part of why Jace has gold eyes and both Clary and Jace have the star. They both were touched bt the Angel.
