BANE-CHRONICLES_612x612

The Bane Chronicles: What Really Happened in Peru debuted at No. 4 on the New York Times Best Sellers List. The first installment of the 10-story series was written by Cassandra Clare and Sarah Rees Brennan.

Cassie took to Tumblr to thank fans.

Thank you guys! I’m so excited. I didn’t know how a project just about Magnus, especially one that was co-authored and e-book only, would go, so I am so grateful to you for trusting me, Sarah and Maureen and coming along with us for Magnus’ story!

Mortal Instruments is #2 on the bestseller list and ID is #7 — I don’t even know whatto think. Mostly I just feel extremely humbled and grateful! Thank you!!

The second installment–The Runaway Queen, written by Cassandra Clare and Maureen Johnson–will be released on May 21.

Also, The Mortal Instruments maintained its hold on the No. 2 spot on the series list of the New York Times Best Sellers list, while The Infernal Devices holds strong at No. 7.

Congrats to Cassie, Sarah and Maureen!

  3. I’m waiting for the hard copies to come out, for some reason I just don’t find e-books as exciting to read as actual books. Can’t wait to read them!!

I don’t have an ereader so unfortunately I have no choice but to wait. I much prefer an actual book though, trust me you don’t want to hear my rant about the ebook but I just don’t get them. The magic of a book is in that moment where you hold your breath as you turn the page or seeing that book on your shelf and knowing you can delve into that world hidden between its pages – you don’t get that magic with a screen in front of you. Can’t wait for the actual book to come out though, I really want to read it!
