‘MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES’ trailer airs during Supernatural
Shadowhunters who also happen to be Supernatural fans got a special treat on Wednesday night during the CW show’s season finale.
The full theatrical trailer for The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones aired during the latter half of Supernatural.
While it wasn’t a new trailer it was still exciting to see The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones on television with still 100 days left until the film hits theaters on Aug. 23.

I was watching the finale live when the trailer came on! I was so happy to see two of my favorite things merging together:))
BTW, the finale was sooo beautiful! Can’t wait til September-ish for the season 9 premiere! SPN is so underrated, it makes me really happy to see this post:))
I saw it live!!! I almost had a heart attack when I realized I knew that background music!! I just about broke my sister’s (she is also a fan) hand as we watched.
I saw I was like omg tmi trailer I told everyone. In the room to be quiet.
of course it was exciting, omg we can’t wait for the film any longer !
No matter how many times I watch it, the trailer still affects me. I just love the image of Clary in her room with the various renderings of the angelic power rune. The art direction on this film looks amazing.

That’s a good question. I was wondering about that. Like with Supernatural the Vampire Diaries fan base is one that would be interested in this movie. We shall see tonight if it airs!

To all the TMI fans out there and fans of the whole angels vs demons thing : if you are not a SUPERNATURAL fan you should DEFINITELY become one as soon as possible! No, seriously. Seasons 4, 5 and GR8 will suck you in. Believe me. You’ll thank me later! 🙂
I think all of the seasons are really good, but those are really exceptional seasons:) and season two! Season two was brilliant. There were a lot of episodes in s2 that were extremely emotionally charged. Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki are fantastic actors!! I was so happy to see the trailer during the finale last night:))

I was referring to the angels vs demons theme, but anyway they are my favorite! Plus I never got over the fact that they killed John Winchester so early in the 2nd season. I mean, John freaking Winchester?! The man who started everything? And I never got the chance to watch the drop.dead.gorgeous.man and my eternal crush Jeffrey Dean Morgan regularly. A shame really! I’m dying to seeing him again in a dream or a flashback or sth or the very last episode of SPN though I don’t want it to end! And Cas! Misha Collins is one of the most talented actors out there. And drop.off.the.chair.funny in real life! Not to mention yummy. Bobby, I want him back so much, freaking Crowley I just love him, Gabriel/Trickster, Lucifer Balthazar, Chuck the list goes on and on. I just love everyone and everything in this show! (Well, except Sera Gamble as show-ruiner and seasons 6 and 7…)

I agree with pretty much everything you said. I especially wish they would bring back John. Literally, yesterday I watched “In My Time of Dying” and I almost started crying because of John/Sam/Dean feels

I watched it, but I was watching on my DVR. I tried to pay attention during FF and I didn’t see it. I haven’t had a chance to watch it again yet. But I’m pretty sure it didn’t show. I was really looking forward to seeing it too!!
