Why Should You Read It?

It’s awesome. Seriously. There are not many books that I can say that have completely and utterly surprised me at the ending. This book is among those few.

Taking place in New York City, Clary Fray, played by Lily Collins, finds herself thrown into a world filled with Shadowhunters, demons, werewolves, vampires, and so much more after her mother is mysteriously kidnapped from their apartment. Clary comes to find out that her life may not be all that it seems and she, along with her new and old companions, may be the key to getting her mother back.

The book is riveting. Though it may seem long, it’s a quick read, seeing as you get sucked into it so easily. I read the whole thing while on a six-hour flight, it’s that addictive.

It is that addicting that i finished reading the 5 books in 3 days. I was already hooked from chapter one and I have to thank the trailer of the movie which i thought is cool enough to convince me to read the books. And add up the infernal devices on that.

    • Same story here! I found out the trailer first and even from the title got my attention, then read all 5 books in a week. Shortly later TID. And then reread all of them from scratch but the second time I took my time to fully appreciate every single line.

  2. I was hooked after chapter one, I love books but there are few books where you so hooked you struggle to put the book down for a second and your desperate to dive back!! Should have been number one!!

  3. I read all of them in a week too cause i had to study for exams. The only other series that got me this hooked ever is Harry Potter. I’v introduced the books to all of my friends who can’t stop thanking me & am glad to not be surrounded by mundanes anymore. These books are the best!!!!!

  4. I got hooked and read all of them in a week as well 🙂

  5. I also got hooked after reading the first chapter, although I believe the books are for all ages not just young adults! Its’s a lovely story to get lost in

3 of my favourite books are on the list!

Divergent (my all time favourite book series in #1 on both lists {mine and theirs})
TMI (my second all time favourite book series, so close to Divergent I some times reconsider which one is my favourite, number to on both lists)
TFioS (my favourite book not in a series).
