Walmart’s exclusive CITY OF BONES movie tie-in with images from the film
Shadowhunters! A slew of Mortal Instruments merchandise hit stores today and now we have another one to add to your list. Walmart has another exclusive City of Bones movie tie-in that features images from the film, including a new still of Magnus (Godfrey Gao).
This movie tie-in is the same movie tie-in that hit stores today with the exception of the added movie stills. The book is going for $9.04.

Do my eyes deceive me or is that actually a picture of Magnus Bane!! I was beginning to think they had totally forgotten about him in the promotion of this film. But just look at the face, we need to see more of that beautiful face!! 🙂 🙂
What’s the book called???
City of Bones (The Mortal Instruments series). 🙂 It’s really good! I’ve seen the trailer and they changed quite a lot of things from the book, but we’ll see what happens when the movie comes out.
The book is still called The Mortal Instruments, City of bones it’s just with a new cover from the movie.

I think they haven’t shown a lot of Magnus so far by purpose! They don’t want to give away too much of him until the movie comes out! They just love to tease us 😀

I can’t believe they are just now mentioning the Walmart movie tie in. I got that book earlier in the week. I even posted a picture on Tumblr.
There’s actually two Walmart movie tie-ins. This one was just released today. It has the teaser poster on the cover, not Clary, Jace and Valentine.
That’s the one I got!!:) They had the one with Clary, Jace, and Valentine and they also had the movie tie in, I got that one before July 9th.
