Will there be a ‘MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES’ Montreal premiere on August 19?
We know that a Toronto premiere of The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones is slated for mid-August, but will there be another Canadian premiere in Montreal?
According to TVA (a French Canadian channel), there will be a Montreal premiere for City of Bones on August 19, and fans have a chance to score one of 40 passes to the event. Fans can also enter to win a trip to the Los Angeles premiere on August 12. Keep in mind this information is not confirmed. It is merely a report. We’ve had another reader point out that the translation might mean an “advanced screening” of the film.

You might win a trip to Los Angeles to attend The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones premiere on August 12, including airplane transportation and hotel. Or one of 10 kits including The Mortal Instruments book series and a ticket for the Montreal premiere of the movie, or even one of 40 tickets for the premiere of the movie in Montreal on August 19. It is confirmed, the pre-première is August 19th. There was a contest via the Journal de Montréal that ended yesterday (the 28th) and I did post a link for it on TMI blog and Facebook’s comments last week, and also on TMI Canada FB. It was indeed to win a trip for the L.A. Premiere, or tickets for August 19th (in french ?) or the books serie (in french). It wasn’t mentioned anywhere that the cast would be attending the Montréal Avant-Première.

OMG having a premier in Mtl would be awesome!!!! If only the cast and Cassie could come as well. That would be a dream come true!!! AND the best thing is that Sunday and Monday are my days off from work so I could camp out all night to get in since August 19 is on a Monday!!!!!
LOL ! I have the same days off and was thinking about it ! But I haven’t seen anything yet that says the cast would be there 😦
Tonight I’m buying on line the tickets for the 21th at Colossus Laval in Super-AVX 😀 (I won’t go to the Imax version, as Harald as filmed with “pellicule” instead of digital, and for Imax they have to transfer it to digital and adapt it to the screen, I want to watch it the way the director envisionned it).
I can’t wait either !!!! 😀
