‘MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES’ storyboard artist shares concept image

The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones storyboard artist Naeim Khavari shared a concept image in comparison with the final shot.

Here’s what he had to say:

Now that the trailers are coming out in full force and the release date is coming closer I figured I could post one storyboard panel from the Mortal Instruments City of Bones film I was working on. This shot is featured prominently in the trailer so I thought I would show you the comparison from storyboard to final shot. Once in awhile as a storyboard artist you get lucky enough to see your original drawing make it all the way through to the final shot. This sequence funny enough was thrown together at the last minute, a lot of times storyboards will be changing and being revised right up until the day of the shoot, this one was thrown together on the day OF the shoot. (never drawn so fast before in my life) At the end of all the madness the scene looks great and it made it into the trailer. Plenty more concept and storyboards from this film to come once it gets released.

The Mortal Instruments City of Bones film looks like The Dark Knight of young adult films!!! Can’t wait to see this. And I’m a mid 30s male!
