Every Friday here at TMI Source is Fan Friday, where we feature a fan who has demonstrated creativity and passion for Cassandra Clare, The Mortal Instruments or The Infernal Devices.. Before you read on any further, CLOCKWORK PRINCESS SPOILERS AHEAD. (Just being careful!) This week at TMI Source, we're featuring fanart about Jessamine Lovelace. Ave atque vale, Jessamine Lovelace.

“”I don’t care what I have to do. I won’t live like this. I’d rather die.” (Clockwork Angel) Jessamine Lovelace (Jessie) from The Infernal Devices trilogy by Cassandra Clare. I bet a lot of you hate Jessamine, but I actually felt bad for her. Especially when Nate tricked her. And when she died. Jessamine & The Infernal Devices belong to Cassandra Clare.”

“I am not a Shadowhunter, Tessa. I despise everything about the Nephilim. I have never wanted to be one, and my dearest wish is to leave the Institute and never speak to a single soul who resides there ever again.”

Also, if you are a fan of TMI/TID/TDA and want your art to be published here, or feel like someone’s artwork deserves to be featured, feel free to email TMI Source with links to your artwork. As always, don’t forget to check back next week for another Fanart Friday!

  1. I liked Jessie I never hated her….prefer her than izzy even tho I like izzy too

  2. I hate when people say Cassie just reused the characters from TMI to make TID. They say she reused Izzy and made her into Jessamine. Obviously they haven’t read the books. Jessamine and Izzy are like polar opposites! I don’t really hate Jessie though; I kind of feel bad for her…

    • Exactly its a very ignorant thing for them to say i mean i haven’t read infernal devices yet but i don’t think its fair to make an assumption if one hasn’t read it yet

It’s so true how different they are; I never saw a single similarity between them despite the fact that Jessie loved her life and parents and Isabelle cares deeply for her family. And yeah, I never hated Jessie; she bothered me at times but in the second book, I actually still felt bad for her, especially towards the end.

    • Even if you were gonna make comparisons at least compare Izzy to Cecily, that’s all I’m sayin.

  3. I like Jessie, she did a few things that made me angry, but still I liked her over all
