Check out the official music video for “17 Crimes” by AFI, which appears on the official soundtrack for The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones (out August 20) and plays in the end credits of the film. The remixed version of this track will appear on the soundtrack from Republic Records.
Wait, is it the remix or the original that plays in the end credits? Because either way, I’ll stay until the song ends (AFI are my babies) and now I’m even more excited to see the movie
I’m wondering this as well. AFI being my top band for…7/8 years now, I was so excited when I saw they’d be on the soundtrack for a movie I was already looking forward to.
I’m looking forward to the actual score much more than this soundtrack. It’s too commercial and mainstream for my liking. I’d prefer it to be much more darker and more alternative. Oh well. I think that’s just me and that I’m too old for Demi Lovato and all that stuff.

Republic Records tweeted and they confirmed “17 Crimes” was playing after the film. This makes me think it’s the regular track that plays.
Looks pretty good 🙂
So staying until the this song ends…. Dying to watch Mortal instruments!

I can actually visualize jamie doing all that crazy stuff there 😀
I’m excited for the soundtrack too!
I was super excited while watching the movie I love AFI ever since i was little and I started freaking out when I heard their song during the movie
Is this the song when they both get on the bike and drive away together at the end of the movie before the credits start?
