You know i think it’s about time that someone spoke up for female fandoms and give them the kind of respect that they deserve, because i think in all honest and i don’t want to make this sound offputting but i think fan girls have a more expressive and vocal way of expressing themselves and showing their fascination to something that gets them excited and are don’t put on a facade or keep quiet about it. I mean yeah sometimes too much screaming gets overwhelming but at least they care and as stated by the anyone who thinks the opposite is just being sexists and disrespectful, because when all is said and done there is nothing wrong with being a fangirl and there is nothing wrong with a little bit of squealing and weeping and jumping for joy every now and then including the fact that i am a fangirl myself.

  And in addition i would like to add that anyone who trashes fan girls and condems them for their entusiasm over something they love should be tossed in a pig pen.

There’s fandom and ‘extreme fandom’. The latter is a bit too ridiculous. However, fandom shouldn’t be condemned, period.

Also fandoms get so much hate for being too euthuisatic but its just the same as football fans- their lives revolve around that sport as do ours revolve around our fandoms. Yes at times a fandom can be over bearing but its only because we love it so much.

I don’t get the situation. I mean, the question. Who craps on female fandoms? What do they say? English is not my native language, I think 80% understand what they answer, but I can’t understand what is it about. Sorry for this stupid question, but can you tell me examples about that, how people crap on female fandoms? I want to understand that. Thanks 🙂

Love these interviews and these people! And I totally agree with them. I’m a passionate female fan and beyond excited . So defaming any female or tmi or any fan because they are fans is not okay! So women can’t express their enthusiasm. Yes some fans get obsessed beyond where its not healthy eg wanting a lock of hair or hating on other fandoms or people. Some of the biebers fans aren’t that nice because of how they act like the ones that got so hissy that bieber didn’t win a Grammy one year and the artist who won was very talented but they critized her and and vandalized her Wikipedia page and said things like go die in a hole! Anyways it’s never cool to trash someone for being a fan. Light teasing on their enthusiasm as long as its harmless can be funny but never serious trashing. Also I love how the cast cassie and crew personally reaches out
