Show your Shadowhunter Pride on Wednesday, August 21!

The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones hits theaters this Wednesday (can you believe it?!) and to celebrate the film’s release we (TMI Source, Mundie Moms and Fangirlish) are asking Shadowhunters all around the world to show their Shadowhunter pride on August 21.

Wear your Mortal Instruments merchandise, black, runes, re-read City of Bones and the movie companion books, preach about the series, fangirl and see the movie as many times as possible opening weekend as you help promote the film and celebrate its release.

I really hope this movie does well I want to see the whole trilogy made into movies (maybe even the next 3 as well fingers crossed) but I’ve got to be honest I’m a little worried. I live in Ireland and I thought I would be seeing advertisements everywhere afterall there are not one but three Irish actors in central roles, but I haven’t seen much at all I only saw one tv spot on tv. What is the hype like in other countries?
