Cover Reveal: ‘The Bane Chronicles: The Fall of the Hotel Dumort’

Shadowhunters! Entertainment Weekly has unveiled the cover for the seventh installment of The Bane Chronicles – The Fall of the Hotel Dumort. The next installment will be released next Tuesday, October 15.


Here is the synopsis for The Fall of the Hotel Dumort by Cassandra Clare and Maureen Johnson:

  2. i want to read these stories, but i hear magnus is portrayed horribly in them 😦 apparently he throws himself at every attractive guy, so it’s no wonder alec is insecure !

      Not at all! I mean, he does flirt, he’s Magnus after all, but since it’s told from his perspective, so you get to know what he’s thinking. You find out about all his fears and uncertainties and in the first installment there’s a huge insight into why he’s always so… flamboyant. He was already one of my favorite characters, but this made me like him even more.

  3. You have to think about it from magnus’ point of view. he has very few friends who he will communicate with for the rest of his life like tessa and ragnor fall. Inside he is probably very tortured like all immortal creatures are as they have seen so much. He tries to hide that by being this extravagant being and finding love and distracting himself.
