Cover for the special edition of ‘The Shadowhunter’s Codex’

On Sunday, Cassandra Clare explained the differences between the regular and special edition of the upcoming The Shadowhunter’s Codex – in stores in 2 weeks – and now we have a new cover for the special edition:

This special edition of The Shadowhunter’s Codex is complete with lush and luxurious detailing that highlights its historic importance. The book is nestled in a gorgeous soft-touch slipcase with foil and embossing on the case. Inside is the book itself, also soft-touch and foiled, with gilt edges, a golden headband, and a golden ribbon—perfect for a studying Shadowhunter to mark their place. It’s as much a work of art as a training manual.

We also know that the Codex

“has four-color endpapers and 92 pieces of interior art.”

I am sooooo gonna get that i have read all the other books apart from The Bane Chronicles ( kindle wont download it ; ( ) if i dont get it i might scream!

LOL here that book is $60 to get from the store, but the special edition one is soooo pretty, so I am willing to spend that much! 😉

Hold on i have one question, on Amazon they have the Deluxe Edition and it looks the same as the photo above. I ordered mine from Barnes and Nobles and it says special edition, but this post says THAT is the Special Edition.So I’m confused, am I getting the one from this post or something different. PLEASE HELP BECAUSE I REALLY WANT THIS EDITION!!!!!!!

It’s the same. Different pages use different names. What’s important is the ISBN-13 number (978-1442496828). If you’re unsure, call B&N and ask them.
