The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones is set to be released on Blu-Ray and DVD tomorrow in the U.S., and Sony has shared another behind-the-scenes clip from the special features. This clip focused on Jace (Jamie Campbell Bower) and Simon (Robert Sheehan).
Oh Jamie. Had I not witnessed your extraordinary performance in ‘Camelot’, I would’ve though that your definition of “dark”, “rude”, “snide” and “vulnerable” was a freaking Disney movie! After seeing this awful movie I’m not quite sure if you even *got* the character of Jace as half as well as you claim to have, but one thing’s for sure: even the most talented of actors can suffer and come across about as deep as a kiddy-pool when working under the wrong director!
Can’t wait to get my copy tomorrow!!!!!!
@ Mina: your opinion.I agree with you about Jamie’s extraordinary performance in Camelot – I loved it!!!! It’s really too bad they canned it after the first season. But I think Jamie did a super, fantastic job as Jace in COB. Granted I was not happy with the way the movie ended and when the story line strayed a bit far from the book, but through it all Jamie was fantastic and I think he did a wonderful job portraying Jace.
Jamie did a great job and was great when he had the opportunity to provide snark and Mina I think jamie did a great job. I think you need to consider the script not always having snarky moments.
Agree with you totally. His acting skills are amazing all of them were. (Also, he’s always looks damn good!) Some fans were not particularly happy with the movie turned out but the changes really didn’t bother me. I’m just so so so so grateful that the story we love was honoured that much, that it was brought to life. I loved every second of it. X

I enjoyed the witty banter and loved the ace moments! Jamie did a great job including the snark when he had the opportunity!
Plus he looked damn good
