I read it. What made me realize that it was an April fools joke is that it wasn’t what I would expect Cassie would write as a final chapter. Also all the death. If you count them there is more than 6.

BY THE ANGEL!!!!!!! I knew something was off. Why would there be an institute in Topeka, KS? And riding tractors? lol. I was on the brink of crying when i read that Jace “dies”. But I immediately knew when i read the last sentence. A piano drops on Simon, even his vampire reflexes couldn’t dodge it. OMG I ALMOST DIED OF LAUGHTER WHEN I FOUND OUT! But seriously, not cool man. I need this book, like nobody knows 🙂
. . . . Yeah, there’s all sorts of things wrong with this scene. One, the tractors and the crop dusters would never work in Idris. Demons are affected by electrum, not Shadowhunters…the list goes on….
upon reading it, I was loving it but when Jaced died, my hand clapped to my mouth and I was thinking in outrage and sorrow , what the fuck? However, I figured it had to be an april fools joke. Cassie wouldn’t leak the final chapter. However they match Jace’s characterization well as he would defy sebastian and would give his life for those he loves. also it did seem different from cassie’s right.
i mean wriitng and now that I think about it dying from a tractor lol? yes because sebastian plan for overthrowing the world invovles tractros. seriously though dying from a tractor sounds like an episode from 1000 a ways to die and yeah shadowhunters aren’t affected by electrum

Happy April fools day! Cassie even said not everyone will die she doesn’t believe in killing people of for no reason or shock value. It’s also not her writing style and I find it hard to believe Jonathan would just die like that.

Half way through I was like, Cassandra Clare would never release the final chapter and nor would they die due to machinery and the writing wasn’t Cassie level, so yeah.. April Fools!
Oh hell …….. I almost had a heart attack when I read that , i’m literally heaving with panic but then I realized that that was defiantly NOT Cassie’s writing style and breathed a sigh of relief . Plus Cassie would never do that to us
