Shadowhunters continued filming on its pilot episode on Tuesday with scenes that involved Clary and Luke, from the look of this behind-the-scenes photo of Katherine McNamara and Isaiah Mustafa that show runner Ed Decter shared.

While Kat and Isaiah were filming, the other cast members — Dominic Sherwood, Alberto Rosende, Emeraude Toubia, Matthew Daddario and Harry Shum Jr. — were having way too much fun training in the gym.

Shadowhunters will continue filming in Toronto through October and will premiere in early 2016 on ABC Family.

I just remembered: Luke’s pack lived in an abandoned police station and sold Chinese takeout as a cover. So the police connection isn’t totally off the wall.

I actually really like the idea of Luke being a cop. If this was a movie it wouldn’t work at all, but as a weekly show I think it could prove interesting. It’s also a nice nod to the books with the police station link and all. I will miss Luke’s little book store though, but that could just be the librarian in me.
