Shadowhunter Weekend Day 1: Cassandra Clare at Waterstones
This past weekend Cassandra Clare was in London to celebrate the release of Walker Books’ reissued The Mortal Instruments editions and to attend Book Trust’s Young Adult Literature Convention. TMI Source was present at both events and although we live tweeted about what Cassie had to say, we obviously were not able to share everything with you – until now!
Casssandra Clare’s first event was at Waterstones Hampstead on Friday (July 17) with Sarah Rees Brennan, co-author of The Bane Chronicles and Tales from the Shadowhunter Academy, as the moderator and Mìla Fürstová, the designer of the new UK TMI editions. These lovely ladies sat down together to talk about art, feminism, the Shadowhunters TV cast, a Malec wedding and more. You can look at our tweets again in case you missed them, but we have also filmed everything for you. Enjoy 🙂
(It is actually the City of Ashes etching plate, mea culpa)
Here is a better look at the plate:
You can find the City of Lost Souls scene Cassie talked about here. Scroll down to “Dirty Sexy Club Scene (cut)” or search for it with Ctrl+F.
The evening was fanastic, everyone was very friendly and the book shop was the perfect venue for Cassie’s talk so thank you so much to Cassie, Míla, Sarah, Waterstones Hampstead and also Sarah from Walker Books for an incredible evening!
Shadowhunters, come back tomorrow for Day 2 of TMI Source’s Shadowhunter Weekend and a worldwide giveaway!
So do we as fans get the uncut CoLS Clace club scene??? She shared the cave scene and others from other books….we want it all!!! 😉
Cassie actually shared this scene years ago. I will include a link in the post.
Reblogged this on The Mortal Devices.
Thank you Cat for recap! Love your pictures. 🙂
