‘Lady Midnight’ Cover To Be Unveiled at New York Comic Con
October is shaping up to be an exciting month for fans of Cassandra Clare’s Shadowhunters books!
After it was announced that ABC Family’s Shadowhunters would be at New York Comic Con and hosting a Q&A panel, featuring the first footage from the series, on Saturday, October 10, Cassie dropped some more news that us super pumped.
The long-awaited reveal of the cover of Lady Midnight, the first book in the new The Dark Artifices trilogy, will be unveiled at New York Comic Con! It will later be released online following its debut at NYCC.
Here are the details for Cassie’s appearances on Friday, Oct. 9 and Saturday, Oct. 10 at NYCC:

Cassandra Clare is the #1 bestselling author of The Mortal Instruments series, soon to be adapted into the Shadowhunters TV show on ABC Family, as well as the Infernal Devices trilogy and the Bane Chronicles. In conversation with Entertainment Weekly’s Amy Wilkinson, she’ll discuss her career and give a sneak peek at her new book, LADY MIDNIGHT, the first in the Dark Artifices trilogy, which comes out on March 8.

New Footage of “Shadowhunters” to be Revealed
The new ABC Family television series “Shadowhunters,” based on the New York Times bestselling young adult fantasy book series The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare, follows 18 year-old Clary Fray who finds out on her birthday that she is not who she thinks she is, but rather comes from a long line of Shadowhunters – human-angel hybrids who hunt down demons. When her mother Jocelyn is kidnapped, Clary is thrown into the world of demon hunting with mysterious Shadowhunter Jace and her best friend Simon. Now living among faeries, warlocks, vampires and werewolves, Clary begins a journey of self-discovery as she learns more about her past and what her future may hold. “Shadowhunters” is set to premiere in early 2016.
The panel will include exclusive footage and a Q&A with cast members Katherine McNamara (“Clary”), Dominic Sherwood (“Jace”), Harry Shum Jr. (“Magnus”), Alberto Rosende (“Simon”), Emeraude Toubia (“Isabelle”), Matthew Daddario (“Alec”) and Isaiah Mustafa (“Luke”) as well as showrunner Ed Decter (“Helix”), Executive Producer McG (“Charlie’s Angels,” “Chuck”) and book author Cassandra Clare.
