Emma watches Mark in new ‘The Dark Artifices’ snippet
Looks like Cassandra Clare fans are getting spoilt today. Cassie just shared a The Dark Artifices snippet on her tumblr and we just cannot wait for this series! 🙂
Julian had stepped away from them and was on the phone again, speaking in a low voice. Mark splashed up out of the water and jammed his wet feet into his boots. Neither he nor Cristina was glamoured, and Emma noticed the stares of mundane passers-by as he came toward her — because he was tall, and beautiful, and because he had eyes that shone brighter than the lights of the ferris wheel. And because one of his eyes was blue, and the other one was gold.
And because there was something about him, something indefinably strange, a trace of the wildness of Faerie that never failed to make Emma think of untrammeled, wide-open spaces, of freedom and lawlessness. I am a lost boy, his eyes seemed to say. Find me.
Cassie later confirmed that Mark, Emma and Co. are at the Santa Monica Pier:
Lady Midnight, book one of The Dark Artifices, will be published on March 8, 2016.

I love Mark, but he’d better not end up with Emma, I dislike her too much to even tolerate the option. I might just read everything once I know the endgames, since this book might frustrate me otherwise.
Why do you dislike Emma? We’ve only met her briefly when she was twelve years old. We don’t know what she’s like.
I think Emma will be great. But then again, we don’t know much about her. This is where we wait until the book comes out and then read like good TDA fans. Then we leave our opinions here for all to see.

I love Julian but now you have me thinking mark would be a better fit there’s not a chance of Emma and Julian being together but in secret and who could want that and truly be happy.

OMG I cannot wait!! Eek!! But that little snippet gave me some mixed feelings.. but also I will always feels sad and wish we could still see clary and jace and the whole gang again 😦 I wish cassie can make another series with them in it again it would be so mcuh better! 🙂
