On Saturday night, ABC Family’s Pop Up Santa surprised 11 incredibly lucky Shadowhunters superfans with the experience of a lifetime when they won a contest to meet Cassandra Clare at an exclusive fan event in New York.
The fans, who submitted videos expressing their passion about Cassie’s The Mortal Instruments and Shadowhunters, were flown to New York City where they met Cassie and were gifted a ARC of Lady Midnight, the first book in Cassie’s upcoming The Dark Artifices series.
But that’s not all. The fans were also received a surprise visit from the cast of Shadowhunters, who brought with them an exclusive screening of “Behind the Shadows: The Making of Shadowhunters” and also received Shadowhunters superfan swag bags.

Another thought, anyone else not in USA and didn’t get to see the behind the scenes? Where can you see it?
When ever I read this it just brings butterflies to my stomach to know that I was one of the fans that won that incredible opportunity (im the girl in the red) meeting the cast was just amazing if i could do it again would. Cassandra clare was just amazing shes so funny and down to earth. With meeting her it made me so happy because I live for her books and to meet the person behind that was just heart stopping.
