Freeform has released three new sneak peek’s from Tuesday’s all-new episode of Shadowhunters, titled “Of Men and Angels.”
In the sneak peeks, Isabelle and her father talk about restoring the Lightwood name, Luke tries to help Clary locate the Mortal Cup, and Jace and Simon get into a heated discussion.

What is this show doing to me…. I’m actually disliking Jace and Clary most of all. Simon is completely right, and Clary is being really whiny. My favorite characters are actually Simon and Alec and Magnus. I honestly hope the show’s script gets better. Even with the issues I’m still gonna watch it all.
Agreed. They gave messed up my favs, Simon was awesome though. But I want Clace!

Let’s not forget that it has been at most a week and a half since Clary’s life has been turned upside down. Everything has been happening to her, without much thought to her agency, plus everybody in her life, with the exception of Simon, has been LYING to her all her life. So I’m not expecting her to be dealing with everything so calmly, especially with so little training and information about what is going on around her. I can’t say absolutely that I would be doing a better job with dealing with all of that, I don’t think anyone can really. Besides, she was just as helpless in the beginning of the books, and I found her to be quite manipulative in regards to her relationship with Simon. She was constantly mocking him, while having implied bursts of jealousy towards him, while cozying up to Jace. I like that Kat is playing a more sincere and earnest Clary, it makes me want to root for her more. And I also like that Jace isn’t so much of a dick like he was at the beginning of the series.
So not only are they no longer following the books, they’re also still not in character. And was that Robert talking to Izzy? Good Lord, they did Maryse more justice.

While I think Jace could still be a bit more sarcastic, I think they are writing his characters pretty well. He was a jerk in the first book or two to everyone but Clary.
Even Simon and Jace work together, why not Clary and Jace! I really hope Clary gets it together and stops being so whiny.
I really like Jace and Clary for the most part. I don’t really understand people’s complaints. However, Robert and Maryse? Typical ABC Family/Freeform parents. This channel is all about the drama, wherever they can find it. I was unhappy with their choice of them…
I pictured Luke being more gentle and supportive, not quite so forceful.

OMG!!!! I love Jace. I think that i will be realy interisting.
I want Clace too!!!! They do need to step it up with the chemistry between the two. I am a HUGE fan and will still watch either way. But haven said that, OMG Clace spend time together off set, do homework!! The original Clace left big shoes to fill with their magnetic chemistry they shared. The Characters need to grow up a little and stop whining and being almost “weak” compared to the original. Please see this all as Constructive criticism! I love it all and just want it to improve and thrive so as a avid fan can enjoy many seasons to come.
