Julian tells Emma that they are forever in new ‘Lord of Shadows’ snippet
The past Lord of Shadows snippets that Cassandra Clare has shared often featured Mark Blackthorn and his two love interests, but last night’s snippet was all about Julian and Emma:
“You’re going to have to learn to live with it,” Jules said. “Even if it horrifies you, Emma. Even if it makes you sick. Just like I’m going to have to live with whatever other boyfriends you have, because we are forever no matter how, Emma, no matter what you want to call what we have, we will always be us.”
Oh the Jemma feels 😮 I hope these two will get their Happily Ever After.

You know, since Clary crafted a successful birth control rune (see Lady Midnight), maybe she could come up with one that would neutralize the negative aspects of parabati being lovers. The positive “super rune” aspect would probably come in handy. Julian’s remark also reminds me of what Jace said to Clary after she infused him with the heavenly fire: “We are always better together.”
I’M CRYING
I don’t know I for one I’m hoping that Cassy does not fix this aspect not every love story is a happy one, and shouldn’t Julian and Emma be contains that they are parabatai, they took this bond knowing the consequences didn’t they, it was not a light decision so they should stick with it.

Can’t they just kill each other and have a relationship in heaven instead?? WHY DO THIS TO JEMMA!?!?!?!
Jules and Emma were pre-teens who didn’t want to be separated after their world had fallen apart. They didn’t know all of the possible consequences of being parabati until Jem dished to Emma in Lady Midnight. I lean toward positive resolutions rather than Romeo and Juliet non solutions. Mea culpa. I’m an unrepentant romantic.:-)

I’m hoping they figure out a way to transfer the parabatai bond from Julian to Cristina, so Cristina can be Emma’s parabatai instead. That’s my happy ending.

Ah, Jemma forever. This is so sweet. But what did Emma say to bring this on? *gasp* will they stop sleeping in the same bed together? How many times is Emma going to look at Jules and remember everything? Good grief what about the Markemma issue. By the Angel! The cliff hanger will continue to plague me!
A sword made by Wayland the smith can cut through anything…does that mean even the parabati bond? And wasn’t Alec Lightwood concerned about his love for Jace? Alec is just such a rule keep. What if Jace had felt the same way?
The only thing I really hope for when it comes to TDA is that Jemma get their happy ending. It’d break my heart if didn’t happen for them. Also, am I the only one who realised that this sounded a lot like Julian got a girlfriend? I just hope it isn’t Cristina. In my opinion, Cristina should date Perfect Diego, Mark and Kieran should get together and Emma and Julian have to get married and have adorable babies, preferably without going mad and killing everyone they love along the way.
There better be a happy ending like all of her other books(i just realised how many issues all the ships have when it comes to their relationship) or else the fandom WILL EXPLODE
