Exclusive: Have a look at a piece of the ‘Lord of Shadows’ cover

We still have almost two hundred days until Cassandra Clare’s second book in her The Dark Artifices trilogy, Lord of Shadows, is published (May 23, 2017), but we will finally get to see the cover this coming Friday (November 18)!

Last year, Shadowhunters‘ Harry Shum Jr. helped Cassie reveal the cover at New York Comic Con and this year Cassie will have some help as well. Cassie is celebrating the release of the print edition of Tales from the Shadowhunter Academy at Barnes & Noble Tribeca and our very own Simon Lewis, Alberto Rosende, is there to help reveal the Lord of Shadows cover!

To make the wait until Friday more bearable, we do have a piece of the cover as a teaser:

We already see three things that we love: Julian (ok, it’s a part of his head, but still 😀 ), a sword that could be Emma’s Cortana and the sea glass bracelet that Emma gave to Julian.
