‘Shadowhunters’ Season 2B Gets Summer Release Date

As Shadowhunters gears up for its winter finale tonight, fans don’t have to wait long to learn when the show will return this summer.
Freeform has announced that Shadowhunters season 2B will premiere Monday, June 5 at its regular time of 8/7c.
While we don’t know too much about season 2B — as the 2A finale airs tonight — we do know that we can expect to see Sebastian (played by Will Tudor) sometime this summer.

The Seelie Court!! Jace and Clary kiss in the Seelie Court. It’s time since she and Simon are together.
I was hoping Sebastian isn’t shown until Season 3, to follow the books. I guess as long as season 3 takes place in Idris!
I agree with the Seelie Court. Jace and Clary go through so much with this and the event leading to Idris. Also, have Izzy done with her drug thing. I really don’t like that story line. Also I want to see the battle on the boat, if that tonight, then that’s alright. I want Imogen to figure out her grandson as well. Seeing Sebastian is ok, but only depending on how long they are going to play out Idris before the big fight with Valentine.
I’m definitely looking forward to Sebastian!

Do we know why they split the season in two like this?
Maybe to give the actors a break. I’m pretty sure all if not most TV shows do this. I know Once Upon A Time just came back from their break.
I hope to see plenty of Idris and especially Alicante since that’s where City of Glass takes place. And I can’t wait to see the Seelie Court kiss.
Yes I so want to see the scene with jace and Clary at the seelie court BTW when that scene happen in the book they never new they were not brother and sister I mean only jace and Alec no ther e not in the TV show but I would really love to see the scene in the seelie court
Why was the Seelie Court scene not shown? It happens long before Jace & Clary discover they are not sibs! Instead it was replaced by other scenes not from the book and not necessarily what fans are interested in! You must know EVERYONE was waiting for the Seelie Queen! And Jace never flirted or had sex with anyone while still longing for Claty, yet the tv series has him doing all that. He seems pretty shallow compared to book Jace! And Clary was never really “in love” with Simon, as she is with Jace, but that’s been totally changed in the series. So neither she nor Jace are true to the love that lies inside of both of them. It makes them much less believable than in the book where they are truly faithful to each other, not really understanding why, but still longing. On tv Clary is like Oh well, I’ve got Simon, Jace never mattered anyway! Absurd! Get back on track, folks! That’s all I ask.
Well in the books we know how Clary was really feeling about Simon because we got her thoughts. On the show we only get what we see. And yes as far as we know Jace never hooked up with anyone else but really don’t know that for sure. And plus who knows what would have happened with Aline in Idris had Clary not walked in the room. And we are still getting the Seelie Court scene and who knows when Clary will actually find out she’s not related to Jace.
I don’t like the story of simon and clary it is to nice and not adventures… I would like to see jace and clary together again they are
