Vote for Cassandra Clare, ‘Lord of Shadows’ and ‘Queen of Air and Darkness’

Epic Reads announced the nominees for the semi-final round of their 2017 *Book Shimmy* Awards yesterday and everyone’s favourite author aka Cassandra Clare managed to get nine (!) nominations!

Here are the categories Cassie and her books are nominated in:

1. Best of Shelf: Award given to the best overall book published in 2017 – Lord of Shadows
2. We Need Diverse Books – Lord of Shadows
3. The Heartstopper: Award for the book that had the biggest plot twist that made you gasp in 2017 – Lord of Shadows
4. Reality Bites – Lord of Shadows
5. Hot Under The Cover: Award for the best romance YA novel in 2017. (This also known as the Theo James Award for sexiest novel.) – Lord of Shadows
6. World Series Champ: Award for your favorite new, on-going or series that ended in 2017 – Lord of Shadows
7. Squad Goals: Award for book with the best group cast in 2017 – Lord of Shadows
8. Most Anticipated: Award for the book you are most excited to read that publishes in 2018 – Queen of Air and Darkness (out on December 4, 2018)
9. The Pagemaster: Award given to favorite YA author of the year. (Author must have published a book in 2017.) – Cassandra Clare
