Happy release day to ‘A Deeper Love’

Can you guys believe that we are more than halfway through with the release of the eight Ghosts of the Shadow Market short stories? Today it’s time to celebrate the book birthday of Cassandra Clare and Maureen Johnson’s A Deeper Love! Happy release day to these two ladies 😀
The fifth installment of the short story collection takes place after a certain event that was mentioned in Clockwork Princess‘ epilogue and that Brother Zachariah was afraid of in Learn About Loss 😥

It is only three years since Tessa Gray lost her beloved husband William Herondale, and she is searching for a reason to live, trying to find the path of being a warlock with the guidance of her friend Catarina Loss. World War 2 rains down destruction on their world, and Tessa and Catarina become nurses who make bargains at the Shadow Market for enchantments to help suffering mundanes. But can Brother Zachariah bear to see the woman he loves risk her life, or might he consider breaking sacred vows to save her from loneliness? (x)

*sighs* I read A Deeper Love straight after it appeared on my Kindle at midnight and by the Angel, it was a bittersweet read for me because of the characters and the story’s setting. But that’s all I’m going to say about this short story.

You don’t actually need an ebook reader, Kindle or Nook to read A Deeper Love. If you have an Amazon account, you can download the free Kindle Reading Apps for smartphones, computers or tablets.

If you are more of an audio book fan, you can listen to actress Kiersey Clemons while she narrates Tessa’s story.

The next story, The Wicked Ones, is released on September 11. You can read a snippet of Ghosts of the Shadow Market #6 here.

A print edition with two additional stories will be released next year (just like The Bane Chronicles and Tales from the Shadowhunter Academy).
