Cassandra Clare shares a Clary snippet from ‘Queen of Air and Darkness’

Happy birthday, Clarissa Adele Fairchild! It’s your 27th birthday today and we wish you nothing but the best ♥
To celebrate Clary’s special day, Cassie briefly returned from her Internet hiatus to share a snippet from Queen of Air and Darkness that features our birthday girl and a certain setting that was very significant in City of Bones:

Aww, I love that we get to see the New York Institute’s greenhouse again. This sounds like it could be a great scene for Clace shippers and I cannot wait to read about these two in Queen of Air and Darkness!
What do you guys think of this snippet? Sound off in the comments below 🙂

The final The Dark Artifices book is published on December 4!

Oh my Lord I’m gonna cry she went back to the greenhouse, and she knows she is gonna die.

  2. YES!!!! I’m taking this to mean Clary survives! She’s already in Faerie during LoS so if she’s in the Greenhouse now, it means she and Jace make it back. I didn’t „think“ Clare would kill our beloved Clary, but it’s nice to have reasonable hope. Ready for a Clace wedding!

  3. I agree, this (i hope) it means she survives and now she is the one propousing to Jace, what a better place to do it, i hope there are apples…

  4. Spoiler alert (maybe)
So… i finished reading the book and i was so looking forward to this scene but never happened… did CC move it to other book or was she just pulling our leg?

    • Did you read the ebook? This scene is from the sequel to A Long Conversation and it’s in every hardcover that’s a first edition as well as the UK paperback.

  5. ohhh, i see. No i have the ebook no the actual book, that explain it thank u
