Alec remembers to always keep fighting in “The Land I Lost’ snippet
It may be Alec’s birthday today, but Cassandra Clare’s readers are the ones that are getting presents. π Cassie just took to her tumblr to share a first snippet from The Land I Lost, the seventh Ghosts of the Shadow Market short story:
Aw, this was lovely and sad! I’m so glad we already know that Alec has nothing to worry about and that his special day with Magnus is going to come π
The Land I Lost is co-written by Cassie and Sarah Rees Brennan and we will find out how little Rafael Santiago joined the Lightwood-Bane family:
Alec Lightwood, partner of the High Warlock of Brooklyn and father of a warlock child, is sent to Buenos Aires to re-establish the Shadowhunters amidst the ruins left by the Dark War. When he arrives, he is not welcomed by the Shadowhunters there. He believes it is because of his companion Lily, the head of the New York vampire clan, until a Shadowhunter orphan confides a dark secret to him under cover of the Shadow Market. (x)
