Happy birthday, Alec Lightwood! Alec is celebrating his 29th birthday today and we wish him a very happy day with his family and friends ♥
Naturally, Cassandra Clare took to her tumblr celebrate the birthday boy and she shared a very powerful snippet that features Alec, Aline and Helen with some amazing art by Cassandra Jean. This scene from The Red Scrolls of Magic shows the beginnings of Alec’s incredible character growth:

I love this snippet so much and I’m so happy Robert is included in this. I can’t wait to read the whole scene once The Red Scrolls of Magic is published on April 2, 2019!
