Happy Sunday everyone! I hope you’re having a relaxing day while enjoying a good book – maybe you’re (re)reading one of Cassandra Clare’s – or an entertaining movie. Cassie took to her tumblr this week to share a very short Queen of Air and Darkness snippet and she also answered a reader’s question regarding the book’s page count.

880 pages – wow! That’s 155 pages more than Cassie’s last final book in a series. City of Heavenly Fire clocked in at almost 200,000 words and we know that Queen of Air and Darkness is over 250,000 words long. This is so exciting 😀

Queen of Air and Darkness is published in 79 days on December 4!

Last heir is the child of lost Herondale that married the fairy, probably the king’s daughter. That said as the Riders of Mannon noticed upon seeing Kit, it would make him the living descendant of the first heir! Also a major reason for the king of unseelie to hate Shadowhunters!
