Watch: ‘Queen of Air and Darkness’ book trailer
Millions of readers are eagerly anticipating the release of Cassandra Clare’s Queen of Air and Darkness; we look forward to every single snippet, we analyse snippets, art and the book cover, we write theories about our favourite characters and what might happen to them in the final The Dark Artifices book. We fangirl or fanboy whenever Cassie shares new information about the book and I believe right now is a very good moment to go into full fangirl/fanboy mode because the book trailer for Queen of Air and Darkness has just dropped! 😀
I don’t know about you, but I’m totally fangirling and I shed a tear because this is it! The Dark Artifices is almost over and we have to say goodbye to this amazing trilogy. I will just watch this trailer, fangirl because of the visuals and the music, while waiting until Queen of Air and Darkness is finally published on December 4.

The whole setting is under water. First you see the title of the first book: “Lady Midnight”. The video changes slightly and you see Emma floating in the water while holding Cortana so the book’s cover. Underneath Emma text appears: “Introduced you to the world of The Dark Artifices.” Cut to a red piece of cloth whoosing from one side of the screen to the other to indicate a new ‘scene’: “Lord of Shadows” (title), cut to Julian under water (book cover). “Took you on a journey deep into a hidden realm.”
Cut to a red piece of cloth whoosing from one side of the screen to the other to indicate a new ‘scene’: “NOW EVERYTHING CHANGES” (all three words are written in capital letters) appears while blue light is reflected under water.
Once more the red piece of cloth: First you see Annabel Blackthorn (from the book cover) and then the book’s title “Queen of Air and Darkness”.
Cut to little lights floating in dark water and then the words “Read the epic conclusion to Cassandra Clare’s #1 New York Times bestselling series. Coming 12/4/18.
Final cut to the book (hardcover) showing up on the screen, it turns slightly so that you can see how big it is. It is then slightly moved to the left side and the covers for Lady Midnight and Lord of Shadows appear. Underneath these two books are the words “Available wherever books are sold.”
