We hope your holidays are peaceful and you got what you wished for. The year and the decade are almost over and to say thank you to our readers, we have teamed up with our friends from Shadowhunters.it to give away something special to one lucky winner.

Since 2020 will bring us the long-awaited sequel to The Infernal Devices, we thought it’d be nice to give away a scarf featuring one iconic quote from Clockwork Angel. It’s the perfect accessory for reading Chain of Gold in March when it’s still chilly in a lot of countries. 🙂

All you need to do is follow the instructions on Rafflecopter (linked above) and leave a comment here or on Shadowhunters.it: Who of the Shadowhunter Chronicles characters is best at buying/giving gifts? I think it’s Clary.
All mandatory options have to be completed – we will check and disqualify entrants if needed.

TMI: Clary bc she’d always give something unique and cool for Christmas.
TID: Charlotte and Henry bc Henry would invent something a bit crazy that doesn’t entirely work and Charlotte always sweeps in with a back up present in case Henry’s accidentally catches on fire in the box or something.
TDA: Ty bc it would always be practical. In the moment it may not seem like a “real” Christmas present because it’s like a set of erasers or something but it’s always something that you find yourself using/needed way more often than any other gift.
TSC as a whole: Magnus. Bc he’s Magnus. It’s always GLITTER!

From TID: I think Jem would be the best gift giver because he would give gifts that come from the heart and have meaning attached to them just because I think hes sentimental like that and gifts from the heart always mean so much more to the person who is receiving it
From TMI: I think clary would be the best because shes lived in the mundane world for most of her life and she knows what shes looking for, for each and every person.
From TDA: I think Julian would take the cake with gifts because he’s had to become a father figure to all the children so he knows them inside out and knows what each and every person wants and how to give it to them. 😊❤

TID : I would say Will because even though he tries to be mean to everyone in the beginning, he really cares for the others and he would do his best to make sure everyone is happy with their gifts. Also with Tessa, he would probably shower her with plenty of books for Christmas and Jem with anything music related. Can imagine him being a great and sweet dad who buys the best gifts for his kids as they unwrap them under the Christmas tree.
TMI : Clary. I mean, she gave Jace a blade for their engagement so who would be better suited to get a gift like that? I would die to get a proposal like that, it’s so Jace-like and romantic sigh….
TDA : Hmmm…. I think Jules since he has so much experience with the kids and would have to be able to give them what they want and make them happy. Can imagine the poor boy going broke by the end of Christmas haha!
Tough question! I think it would be Tessa or Clary, but I would choose Clary – she can get fun gifts from the mundane world for everyone!
I think that Jem would be the best gift giver because he would give gifts that are well thought out with each one having a special meaning behind it because I imagine hes sentimental like that 😊

Julian Blackthorn from The Dark Artifices has my vote. He’s always had this silent but observant thing going on so I think he suits his gifts appropriately and heartfelt to each and that alone puts him at top tier. But what sets him apart is the fact that he has plus points because he’s been running the London Institute for years while raising his siblings. So yeah, he’s the best.
