Cassandra Clare shares deleted scene from ‘Chain of Gold’

It’s been a while since our last post and a lot has happened in the world. I hope all of our readers are okay and practicing social distancing!
Cassandra Clare took to her tumblr yesterday to share a deleted scene from Chain of Gold and it’s only spoilery for those who haven’t read Cast Long Shadows.

Ouch, that one hurt so I’m really glad it was deleted. What do you think? Sound off in the comments.

I think it hurts a lot, but at the same time this scene is so beautiful and well written that I’m sad Cassie decided to cut it…❤️

It’s very good and I wonder why it was not included? Especially if Lucie wrote this about Matthew and intimate knowledge only he could have shared with her.
